One of the most recommended and effective ways of mastering the Polish language is through Polish immersion. Immersion is a method of study that entirely exposes the students to Polish without the support of their mother tongue. Learning Polish through immersion creates an environment that forces the student to learn, effectively mimicking the way children learn language naturally.
- Expose yourself to Polish-language media. This is a cheap way and also the most readily available method of Polish immersion. Listen to the Polish radio, watch television, listen to Polish music, all in Polish. This will get you used to the language, and expose you to a lot of vocabulary and different Polish accents.

- Traveling to an Polish-speaking country is also very helpful when it comes to Polish immersion. This is the most effective way to force yourself to abandon the support of your native language. Spending a few months in an Polish-speaking country is an effective method of wiring your brain to speak Polish like a native. Being forced to interact completely in Polish in everyday life will eventually make you think and speak like an Polish speaker.
