How to Improve Your Spoken Polish Quickly

Speaking the Polish language is easy for native people in Polish-speaking countries. But what about those who came from other countries who are not well-versed in this language? If you are one of them, it can be quite hard to learn how to improve your spoken Polish. But it is not impossible. Here's how:



Study the Polish language. There are certain rules in grammar and sentence structure that you have to be familiar with. Written and spoken language in Polish has similarities and differences. Learn Polish pronunciation rules and accent tips. There are hundreds of books and online resources about the Polish language, just do a search on Google and you will find the right books and tutorials.

Pay attention how Polish-speaking people hold conversations. Listen to the words they use, the intonation, how they express their thoughts through Polish language expressions and vocabulary, and the common expressions they make. Keep a small notebook with you and write down Polish words and phrases you heard so you can remember them and practice speaking them later.

Join an Polish class. You can find Polish as a Foreign Language classes at some community organizations or on the internet. These classes might be free of charge, or you might have to pay a fee but this could help you improve your Polish skills better.

Watch Polish news programs, talk shows, and movies in Polish.
